Airisto Segelsällskap i Åbo hosts the

8mR World Cup 2025

2nd - 9th of August, 2025 in Turku, Finland

The cruising association Airisto Segellsällskap i Åbo has been selected to organize the 8mR World Cup in August of 2025, coinciding with the association's 160th jubilee.

We do not only invite these beautiful boats and crews from all around the world to Turku for this spectacular event; we also welcome the public to follow the event on shore and the water in the scenic archipelago of southern Finland.

Get involved

We welcome yacht crews, families, friends and spectators to the shores of Turku to participate in the week-long regatta with its comprehensive social programme, and we're more than happy to help the participating crews arrange logistics, hospitality etc. The race organization are also looking for everything from volunteers to a title sponsor for the event.
